Who would have thought that 15 years ago, when the notion of staging an off-season cabaret would develop into a second annual production for Wexford Light Opera Society?

But, that’s exactly what has happened with our Hits from the Musicals presentation, which is now an important income that helps keep the main ‘show on the road’.

This show is annually a varied mix of musicals and light opera classics. With selections ranging from Offenbach and Gilbert and Sullivan, to Lloyd Weber and Boublil and Schonberg the Hits from the Musicals offers opera buffs and non-theatrical folks alike a night of unequalled entertainment.

In it’s cabaret setting in the Ferrycarrig Hotel, patrons can enjoy an early bird menu in advance of the show start, or have a drink from the bar, as they sit back and relax while Wexford’s award winning soloists and chorus entertain with over two hours of lively, stirring, and sometimes tear-jerking performances of West End and Broadway classics.

All seats will be numbered this year for your added convenience and to alleviate queuing at the Hotel, so booking early is essential.
